Marc delivers work for assignments and also makes illustrations for sheer pleasure.
Creating sketches and technical drawings is a useful skill for generating and discussing solutions for products or contraptions. Beyond the workplace, Marc finds pleasure in sketching and painting, where he can combine his technical aptitude with his passion for graphical work and craftsmanship in general.

Mostly made during holidays, or week-ends out. Done with colour-pencils, watercolours and soft pastels.
For some reason, I almost always spot a sign, a fence, or barrier in the landscape that triggers me to start drawing.
Assignments
Posters and illustrations for events.
Amongst others, the Strade Bianche Achterhoek, a magnificent gravel ride festival. I invent a different theme for each edition and create a fitting visual image.
Marc follows lessons at the Wackers Academy in Amsterdam. Some scenes from 2026 are depicted below.
